Planner
The Planner's responsibilities will mainly include:
- Planning, operational handling of orders, making transport quotes,
- Developing optimal transportation plans based on customer orders and availability of transportation means,
- Monitoring transports in real time,
- Liaising with dispatchers and carriers to ensure on-time delivery,
- Calculating transportation costs and rates,
- Advising drivers on loading and unloading and on ferry crossings;
- Maintaining orders in information systems and handling transportation documentation;
- Optimizing empty kilometers and empty vehicles,
- Caring for the positive image of the company,
- Working directly with other departments of the company
Our requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience in the profession;
- Knowledge of English to a minimum communicative degree;
- Knowledge of CMR regulations;
- High communication and teamwork skills;
- Very good work organization;
- Problem solving skills;
- Customer orientation, divisibility of attention, accuracy, regularity, responsibility;
- Entrepreneurial and proactive;
- Cat B driving license;
- Experience with the Scandinavian market and with general cargo welcome, but not required.
