The second edition of the educational and informational campaign "Visibly, safer!" ("Widocznie, bezpieczniej!") starts in 2 months!
In the first edition of the campaign, we focused on meetings with preschoolers. This year, between April and June, we plan to visit elementary schools from Srem and the surrounding area to educate children about the importance of visibility on the road - not only when moving by bicycle, but also on foot, as well as by car.
In partnership with the Śrem District Police Station and a professional cyclist, we plan to provide children with key information on:
- the importance of wearing a helmet while riding,
- the necessary equipment on a bicycle,
- methods of increasing visibility and their impact on safety,
- the principles of signaling maneuvers on the road.
The campaign will culminate in a bicycle rally in June, which aims not only to integrate, but also to put into practice the gained knowledge.
We encourage schools and other organizations to join our project. We are convinced that together we can build strong safety awareness among young cyclists, who will soon be taking exams to receive their bicycle cards.
